An evening with singer/songwriter Graham Kendrick featuring his
solo acoustic songs.
IF YOU HAVE ever heard Thorns in the Straw, Crucified Man or How Much Do You Think You Are Worth, you will know that Graham Kendrick has a whole other side to his music – songs that tell stories, paint scenes on the imagination and feed the spirit with hope. Performed with passion by the man who authored them and in the acoustic style that suits them best, these songs make up a very special concert.
Make Way Music is pleased to be able to offer to event organisers and concert promoters this unique concert for 2010.

What is it?An intimate and atmospheric evening featuring Graham’s solo acoustic songs, linked by his conversational insights and stories behind them. The simple line up [in smaller venues just Graham and a bassist] makes for a flexible set-up that works as well with 300 people in a church, as it does with 2000 in a concert hall. Normally a concert of two halves divided by an intermission.
Who is it for?Of course it is for everybody who loves Graham’s music, but it is also the kind of event to bring friends to who may not feel comfortable in a church service. The songs bring to life characters and events from the Gospels and many cluster around the final dramatic events of Jesus life, inviting the listener into the story.
Whilst there will be moments of audience participation, this a concert rather than an evening of congregational worship.
When is it available? For geographical and economic reasons this event is organised into tours, and at the present time 30th April to 28th May 2010 is on offer. If your preferred time falls outside these, do let us know as sometimes one-offs can be accommodated. In any case, fill in the form.
How much will it cost?Costs vary depending on size and type of venue, travel and accommodation etc, but the relative simplicity of the line-up and logistics means that experienced organisers should not have too much difficulty making it viable.
