[ story behind the song ]

It is surprisingly rare to find new songs which put the words of Jesus to music. This is a paraphrase of some of his most famous, to which I have added a chorus of response.

Matthew 5:3-10, Luke 6:20-22

For theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.
