New album released
Sacred Journey (An evening with Graham Kendrick) - the new live
album recorded on the cathedral tour is now available.
It
has often been observed that Graham at his best is Graham closest
to his roots - the acoustic guitar troubadour painting words and
pictures on our consciousness, inviting us to wonder and ponder
and sing the greatest of all stories. Inviting us to sing ourselves
into the story, and the story into us. Add choice instrumentalists
skilled in interpreting the meaning of words and the emotion of
the moment, place them together beneath cathedral architecture
and the best is even better!
The
specialness of this album is not just that it features fresh recordings
of songs from the beginning of Graham's journey, unavailable anywhere
else today, right through to more recent compositions and 'classics',
but it unites something very personal with a shared experience;
one voice and many voices. Intimacy on a grand scale.
Track
list:
Led
like a lamb
Simon's
song (Footsteps on the sea)
Caiaphas
and the temple guard
Meekness
and majesty
Peter
at the breaking of the bread
The
servant king
How
much do you think you are worth?
O
Lord, the clouds are gathering
Thorns
in the straw
To
you O Lord
Lord
the light of your love (Shine Jesus, shine)

Journey is available from makewaymusic.com for just £9.99

Graham's new album released today
Graham's new studio album 'Do Something Beautiful' hits the high
street today. The 11 outstanding songs include duets with Tim
Hughes and Darlene Zschech and also the track chosen as the Spring
Harvest 25th Anniversary song (Do Something Beautiful).
Sleeve notes
written by Graham give personal insight into the inspiration and
biblical references behind each song - 'How Long?' is an anthem
for the persecuted church, 'Arise' is a prayer for peace, 'O for
a thousand tongues' gives a fresh melody to 'one of the most famous
worship texts ever'.
'Do Something
Beautiful' once again exposes Graham's ability to turn a phrase
and leaves the listener contemplating the textured beauty of an
awesome God.
